UBS Asset Management: The Red Thread Global Themes and Outlook
The background
UBS Asset Management sought to solidify its position as a global leader and a trusted partner for investors. Their goal was clear: empower investors with the knowledge and insights they need to navigate the complexities of finance. So we helped them develop a thought leadership event series specifically designed to address investor needs.
The execution
UBS Asset Management launched “The Red Thread Global Themes and Outlook,” a thought leadership event series specifically designed to address investor needs.
Stretching across three continents (USA, Europe, Asia), The Red Thread event series encompassed 14 international business centres. But when it came to engagement, we knew a one-size-fits-all approach wouldn’t cut it. We created localised content to resonate with the specific investment landscape of each city whilst keeping consistency at the forefront, and designed tailored digital assets – including social media content and email invitations – to further personalise the experience.
Each event featured local speakers and industry experts along with presentations and printed materials designed to address the specific interests of the attendees. Networking events were woven into the fabric of the series to foster interaction between UBS and the participants, and we also created promotional videos to help spread The Red Thread conference series far and wide.
The results
The events proved to be a resounding success, with participation soaring by 52% compared to previous events, and over 3,000 attendees engaging with the series. The Red Thread series further solidified UBS Asset Management’s position as a thought leader by featuring a diverse group of 42 experts, including Michael Spence, the 2001 Economics Nobel Prize winner, Roger Federer, the legendary world-class athlete, and Paolo Magri, Executive Vice President of the Institute for International Political Studies.
The Red Thread Global Themes and Outlook didn’t just garner investor attention, it also resonated with UBS’s internal strategy, gaining media coverage in outlets like ANSA and El Mundo, further solidifying UBS’s position as a leader in the financial world.
