Hoxton Window Project: Alex Tait
This month’s Hoxton Window Project featured Alex Tait, a lovely illustrator making waves in London’s art world with his surreal and spirited work.
To pay tribute to the hot and steamy summer month of August, Alex covered our windows with three characters, all interacting with different ice creams. There is the skateboarder whizzing off with his ice lolly and two chic urban ladies clad in shopping bags and obscured almost entirely by the enormous ice creams they are holding.
Using bold colours and playful imagery, Alex creates illustrations that are funny, relatable and make a statement. Although he’s only been out of uni for three years, his clients include Netflix, The Telegraph, Carling, easyJet and Oreo, to name a few. He has also been featured on It’s Nice That.
Alex is represented by Jelly London, who worked with us to produce this month’s Hoxton Window Project. You can check out more of Alex’s work here.
